About Me
I am a lifelong learner with a passion for education and design.

I find true joy when I can help others learn, whether it is by teaching them or creating something that will help them learn. For over a decade I have been an educator designing learning opportunities (face to face, synchronous, and asynchronous) for learners of all ages. Completing the Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA) has allowed me to transfer my experience and skills as an educator to those needed to be successful in the field of instructional design. Through AIDA I have been able to increase my current skills, learn the technology needed to create eLearning modules as well as other learning and development opportunities.
I have always loved art and creating things to capture someone's attention. Playing with colors and images to see how well they work together is something that I find satisfying. I take pride in starting with a blank slate and some ideas and turning it into something great. By transitioning into instructional design and graphic design, I have been able to marry my two passions into a truly fulfilling role.

I am a creative person at heart. I love learning new things, crafting, and photography. In my free time you can find me at the beach, camping, or learning something new.
